Below is an FAQ-esque section detailing some concerns that may arise, or are on my mind.
1: I'm kind of lazy.
2: I either end up working on something else to still feel productive or end up overfocusing on, say, the way I draw a very exactly curved line that I know damn well I won't get right.
I would say that it would be suited for 16+. There is sparse, if any, sexual content, heavy cartoon blood and gore, explicit language, and themes of psychological distress and trauma, as disclosed in the main page.
It's clear and simple. Literally. Not much visual junk, and it also has a perk of less bandwidth and loading times.
YRSS feeds are basically news feeds embedded as an XML file. To view and keep track on RSS feeds like the LUDICRITAL one, I recommend using Newsboat for GNU/Linux and *nix users, and QuiteRSS for Windows users. Check your feeds occasionally to keep up to date with new events or updates!
For disclosure, LUDICRITAL uses its RSS feed for updates to the page, or for minor updates to the site deemed worthy of noting. Updates are done on the RSS feed, then replicated onto the Discord server. RSS updates are about as frequent as page updates, excluding minor updates.
I don't see my interest straight-up dying for LUDICRITAL, but as for if the comic bombs, what about the story? LUDICRITAL as a WHOLE is in the public domain, as mentioned before, meaning that if you don't like the webcomic, you may fancy the story, or the characters, or the world it takes place in, or perhaps the very idea of it as a whole.
As a side note, you have full permission to share, modify, sell, and copy this work. If you want to make fanart, an AU, a retelling of the story, an adaptation, whatever, go ahead. I'll be happy to see it!
That's for you to decide.
You're correct, most people do in fact use JS. But that's only most people. What if you don't have a browser that supports it, like Lynx? What if you don't like it due to it hogging CPU or memory? What if you're worried about the morality of some sites' use of JS? Even though LUDICRITAL hardly has a reason to use JS other than easy reading, I still provide a way to read the pages to the minority to help reach as MANY people as possible.
